LIGHT MAPPING NYC - on November 18th 2009

Light Mapping NYC gathers the entire community of New York lighting designers at an international forum in order to talk about the current state of the Big Apple’s night-time urban environment, its origins and its possible evolution in the future.

The event consists in a number of Lightwalks, i.e. night-time walks through New York’s most significant places in terms of technical lighting. The guides will be world-famous lighting designers.
The event will result in a final meeting where the Lightwalk Leaders will be presenting the conclusions drawn from the activities carried out.

After the recent London and Rome Light Mapping events, iGuzzini once again supports the initiative through its North American subsidiary as the sponsor of the New York session. 

Lightmapping NYC has been developed by the Professional Lighting Designers' Association in cooperation with the Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) and Illuminating Engineering Society New York City Section (IESNY).
